Meet the team

Connie Clapcott
Co-founder- Care Sisters
My career first started, working in a hospital for 10 years. During this time, it quickly became my passion in caring for the elderly and in particular dementia residents.
One of my daughters was then diagnosed with autism, and caring for her when she was young was a full-time job.
Years later, after receiving support from carers who helped to assist us with our daughter at home and our day-to-day life, our household became much more functional. In doing so, I have learned firsthand the value of a carer and how they can change a life, not just for my child, but for the whole family.
Returning to the workforce after caring at home for my daughter, I decided to work in a different industry, leading me into fields such as hospitality and retail. This position led me to leadership opportunities which I thoroughly enjoyed. More recently, I shifted my focus back to a caring role and began working as a carer, a role which has further developed my skills and understanding within this amazing field of work.
My hope is that in sharing my story, I can give some reassurance that with the right support, better days are to come.
As co-founder of Care sisters, I use my knowledge from professional and personal experience to aid in finding the right staff for our clients. We are so proud of our forever-growing team. And we take great pride in seeing our clients’ lives change for the better.
Sarah Becares
Co-founder - Care Sisters
With over 24 years of experience in Aged Care and Nursing, I continue to fulfill my lifelong calling to help those in the community who require specialised tailored care and support.
My Clients and Employers have often commented on my quiet, calm, efficient, and compassionate approach in my work roles over the years. I have a vast experience in roles in Aged Care and Nursing, Disability Support, Managerial Administrative Initiatives, and implementation of Client Needs Programs.
In my early years, I gained experience as a Teacher's Aide at a Special School for children with learning challenges. I realised that I wished to expand my skills and knowledge and began employment at the well-respected Canossa Hospital and Nursing Home located in Brisbane, Queensland. During my 21 years at Canossa, my talents were well recognised.
During my time at Canossa, my experiences and roles were varied and provided me with enormous information and education, which is invaluable to me to this day.
My other experience in Aged Care includes the role of Co-ordinator of Seasons Aged Care, from 2018 -2020, and Co-ordinator of Community Services at Autism Queensland.

In 2021, my sister, Connie, and I, discussed the concept of founding our own business initiative, utilising our broad combined knowledge and experience in providing assistance, support, and compassionate approaches to our Caring Initiative.
We founded, Care Sisters.
As Co-founders, we are excited and anticipate the honour of supporting many clients in the future.
